I won't subscribe to the Weekly Standard, or any such "opinion leader" rag, because I'm tired of being preached to by the elite punditocracy. They are so trite, predictable, boring and, worst of all, fatheaded, that they irritate me no end these days.
I'm with you on that, Wolfstar. I still read Victor David Hanson and Michael Barone, but that's about it. After the katrina episode in which they all jumped off the cliff without checking the facts, I got really disgusted. Then they went hysterical over Harriet Miers, and I was finished with most of them.
