The president outlined his strategy for victory in Iraq at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. He met with VFW Commander-in-Chief Jim Mueller and Secretary of Vetrens Affairs Jim Nicholson in the Oval.
Laura Bush gave the media a tour of the holiday decor at the White House.

Your very welcome, I seldom get so typing happy, but our President needs our support, and if any of my comments are read by some of the fence sitters, and causes them to reconsider their misguided affection for the leftist causes and/or agenda, I'm a happy camper :-)

Leaders are very seldom groomed for the job. The very best of our leaders were never recognized as such while they were in office...
this is the most compelling reason to never trust our main stream media to report the facts. Our greatest leaders were born out of need, not necessity or choice. They rise up to lead by the grace of God

I can go on and on about the crimes of Bill Clinton and the band of criminals he employed during his administration. Sandy Burger was by far the most corrupt

You're absolutely correct: Hackett is Scott Ritter personified. Fortunately, Hackett is going to face a TOUGH primary opponent who (like a typical Democrat) will fight dirty!. . . Even if Hackett wins the primary, he'll be (fatally?) bloodied in the process!
It appears as though DeWine will have two rather weak primary opponents . . . Most pundits believe he'll win handily!

Thanks for a great Dose, GEM.
I support our President, our troops, and our mission, 100%.
My God continue to bless and protect our precious troops.

We just have to accept they will always take an opposing view, in the most despicable way .. especially when they're looking like vultures at coming elections. They're so predictable. That's why Sen. Jos. Lieberman is to be commended repeatedly .. he values his country more than his party, I believe that he believes in God and good and evil, and that he's inherently a good and decent man.

You mean we have to wait for eternity?
To see them get it?
Darn it.
I'm feeling really cranky about my church because our monthly newsletter carries a movie review ... this month it was a rave review about Good Night and Good Luck, the lying propaganda piece that George Clooney created about Murrow and McCarthy.
Unfortunately the two reviewers are friends. One of them is named Jane.
I am thinking about sending an e-mail beginning:
Jane, you ignorant slut ...
what do you think?

Lol!! That's probably not a good idea...although there is this girl in my international politics class that I'd really like to smack. So if you call Jane an ignorant slut, I'll smack Shoeba. How's that? :)

Sorry, had to watch the President one more time!!! ;*)
Having sat out the political scene from '85-'01, I missed all the corruption as it was transpiring. However, every time a problem comes up today, research leads to the K-Toon.
I believe what you say about Burgler ... so why was he not crucified when there was hard and fast evidence against him? Why a couple bucks and a smack on the hand? I just don't understand that.

It was a wonderful speech. IIRC, he didn't use notes and just rattled everything off.
As I said, I have looked for a video of it since 11/19. The only place I found it was at the Pentagon site - then I lost it some how. If you find it would you let me know?

That is because Republicans have yet to learn that they can call for any kind of hearings they wish, yet they have yet to politicize that power. I have a gut feeling that George W. Bush asked the Republicans not to pursue Clinton and his long list of crimes, due to his desire to look forward and not be held hostage to the revelations of the most corrupt President ever

Oh .. I remember those times ..cliff-hanging times, the misery of their filth. Inofe is a great American .. God knows he tried and tried to get the word out, but the machine was just too big and overpowering. You need to keep this handy, Mike .. for SHE who cometh down the road .. for SHE's in it DEEP.
How many Americans do you think could read that and answer YES to this question: do you think SHE knew and participated in putting the US at risk for $$?

Well, the President had a lot to deal with early in his presidency. Perhaps he thought the 9-11 Commission would do the job they were paid to do. There is still hope I guess.

We need not to worry about who will back Hillary Clinton in 2008.... It's the millions of Americans who never saw the need to vote, is who will come out by the hundreds of thousands, making sure she will never be the Commander-in-Chief

The 9/11 Commission had one goal... And that was to not convict anybody for negligence. That was because the 9/11 Commission would look Partisan if they concluded that Clinton did nothing to counter the threats we faced

Wont happen, Legislators have been corrupt from day one, what makes us different from the others is that we investigate wrong doings and prosecute those who break the law.
Our way of government grants local Government the power to bring their own law breakers to justice
