ping
folks, we are in trouble. I fear real conservatives will never be elected again...
Good bye Arnold.. Good bye California GOP.
I hope they put out the red carpet for her ... unless she prefers blondes.
Arnold, Arnold, Arnold.
Homosexual Agenda Ping.
Don't have time to ping much today, but had to get this one out. So Schwarz hired a lesbian activist as his right hand man, so to speak.
Words fail me. I never expected much from him, but I didn't expect this.
Freepmail me and DirtyHarryY2K if you want on/off this pinglist.
Why would lesbians worry about abortion?
Just the political class, not the people. The problem is not that the people have become leftist, but that they've become so easily manipulated. The more things slide to the left, the more tightly conservatives cling to the GOP as their only savior, which of course just makes the problem even worse.
well, let me play devil's advocate here - many "scorched earth" conservatives did not show up to back Arnold's ballot initiatives. he owes them nothing at this point. So he makes this move, and don't be surprised if he grants clemency to Tookie to make a play for african american votes. the same people who don't like these measures, have already shown they will not vote to support Arnold - he's got very little to lose.
the lesson to be learned here goes to alot of freepers who routinely post they will not vote for McCain over Hillary (for example). Politically, either you are part of something, or you are in the wilderness.
I see the pro-Arnold 'blame-it-on-the-conservatives' posters have already begun to show up.
This is the most pathetic attempt to shift blame I've ever seen.
There was a voting universe of ONE in the selection of this radical leftist to run the Executive branch in the great State of California: Arnold Schwarzeneggar's.
The buck stops with the Governor and no one else, no matter how hard his defenders try to spin this unmitigated disaster.
I'm guessing it's because even they know, deep down, that they're not "born that way".
A longtime gay rights activist, Kennedy married her partner, Vicki Marti, in a 1999 ceremony in Hawaii attended by many California political insiders.
Vicki Marti gets paid $99,000 a year to sit on the California Medical Assistance Commission
How often does that commission meet? Once a month? At luxury hotels?
