I think Bush could send them into retreat if he continues to make speeches like he did today. I only wish he had done this a long time ago, when the Dems were first starting to attack him.

One of the things that irks me about Bush is that he has the tendency to "be the better person" when the Dems attack him. When the better strategy is to fight back and show their hypocrisy.

I totally agree. I also think it is because he just wants to focus on getting the job done and has little patience for the Washington games. I respect him for that, but I do think it doesn't, and can't, work. Hopefully, he finally realizes he can't make "friends" with the Dems and that he must, in a way, lower himself to respond to their outrageous (and often really nuts) allegations and comments.

Wow! Wasn't that some speech?! THe guy on Fox right after the speech was right - conservatives are upset that Bush has allowed the left to use him as a punching bag.

Not today - that was great. Everyone needs to hear it, and I hope the MSM allows it to be broadcast.
