Indeed he does.
Well then Leary must be a typical narcissistic libertarian who bashes everything.
I watched the first couple minutes of the show last night,
then I flipped to another channel because the a-hole wasn't funny.
"Have you - or ANYONE - ever seen or heard a comedian that bashes liberal values - EVER?
Yeah, I have...and his name is Denis Leary. He bashes smoking bans, enviornmentalists, vegetarians, therapy, Hollywood celebrities who whine about their problems and blame everybody but themselves, musicians who tell people to support liberal causes, etc."
I have nothing against Leary or Comedy Central. Leary works hard and tries new material. This is just not funny to me. And Comedy Central is just trying to make ratings so they can sell advertising. I am not so sure this is not just bad humor. I do not see a political attack on our culture as much as I see bad judgement. I do not like it. It offends me. There is nothing illegal or wrong with offending me as this is a free country.
I will, in this free country, write a letter and refuse to patronize the station. It is my choice and I will not lose sleep over it or firebomb the network, or threaten peoples lives. See I am a compassionate, logical, mainstream, hardworking, conservative. If I were a liberal wacko that had been offended, I might throw myself in front of a trian or set myself on fire in front of CNN headquarters.
I will just do my small part to advance a righteous culture rooted in morals and values for our country and hope that it is contagious.
Have you - or ANYONE - ever seen or heard a comedian that bashes liberal values - EVER?Sam Kinison (a former Pentecostal minister) also did, and his takes on religion was just as brutal. He depicted Joseph advising Mary that Jesus had better be the ONLY "Son of God" and made a reference to Jesus suggesting someone find a ladder and a pair of pliers during the crucifixion.Yeah, I have...and his name is Denis Leary. He bashes smoking bans, enviornmentalists, vegetarians, therapy, Hollywood celebrities who whine about their problems and blame everybody but themselves, musicians who tell people to support liberal causes, etc.
Trey Parker and Matt Stone also pound on liberals hard, yet note "The Most Offensive Song Ever Written" on "Mr. Hankey's Christmas Classics".
