Yep, back when dial-up was king, almost before the petrified one invented the Internet. I'm only a few months behind you in FR seniority and I'm still stuck with dial-up. I'm too far out in the sticks to get a DSL, and a satellite connection is too expensive for my retirement budget. I can usually get connected at 56K now, which is a little better than the 24K I was getting when I first went online in '95. Soon I will probably be the last man alive on planet earth still using dialup.
