The only way you can get control of the GOP is to drive out the social conservatives. That's not just me or my buddies in St. Taliban's Church. It includes the most articulate spokespeople we have, the generation that grew up on National Review and takes pride in its legacy. Perhaps you think you could win elections that way, but you'd probably have greater success on a national scale if you just hooked up with those who really share your political agenda--which is not limited government but unrestrained license to drive society down as low as you can get it. Just ask the Nancy Pelosi wing of the Democrat Party what "freedom" means to them, and I think you'll find Sex on Cable someplace on their list.
