3 hours, huh? Not bad. Consider yourself luck that you didn't have to visit the Car Jail on 127th and the Ryan. It's a 24$ cab-ride simply to get there.

As a humorous aside, I got a ticket tossed and my towing fee refunded my last time. The cop checked the incorrect violation on the ticket (not surprising because it was about -10F that night), and I successfully argued that (for that reason) the towing company had no authority to tow.

The look on the traffic judge's face was priceless when the city attorney said "We are not challenging that argument." She responded,

"I think I'll just dismiss this one and let you get on with your work."

3 hours after 7 hours of drinking. I had to go to the lot on Lower Wacker, IIRC. That reminds me, they gave me 2 tickets before they towed me, about an hour apart. I sent a letter asking wasn't 1 ticket and 1 tow enough? Let me repeat, bastards!
