What a stupid and unwarranted comment. We are all aware that a small but important percentage of the Catholic hierarchy in America violated their obligations by transferring homosexual priests from parish to parish in the recent past, but that fact has nothing to do with this story.
I guess facts and logic never stopped a bigot from mouthing off.

It might clarify the notion of human frailty to note that the percentage of priest sex-offenders (hang 'em, by all means) is lower than the percentage among Protestant denominations.
And WAY lower than among public school teachers.
