More excellent news, the Senate has caved into the House and agreed not to include the Spector/Kennedy massive increase of 350,000 additional visas annually.

Way to go Tancredo and gang, it's becoming more obvious by the day that without these guys the Senate and their cheap labor pals would give away the store to the lowest bidder:

No hike in H-1Bs, green cards now

NEW DELHI: It may be curtains for many an American dream. The provision for increasing the number of non-immigrant temporary-skilled worker (H-1B) visas and recapturing the unused employment-based immigration visas (green cards) is no longer part of the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005.

The Deficit Reduction Act of 2005, as passed by the Senate , (S 1932) had provisions that increased the number of H-1B visas, issued every year, from 65,000 a year to 95,000 annually. It also called for the recapturing of the unused employment-based immigration visas from 1991 onwards. Hence, each year, a maximum of 90,000 employment-based immigration visas could be issued.

However, the version of the Senate bill S 1932, that has been agreed to by the US House of Representatives, does not include any of these provisions.

Anything that makes Fat-Boy RUN for his Chivas to drown his sorrows makes ME happy! And if the rest of "Dr Evil" Spector's hair falls out in dissapointment, I'm in Shadenfreude-land!

Good news indeed...

Funny, it seems Tom Tancredo has been more effective than Jorge Arbusto in dealing with the problem of Illegal Infiltrators in a manner consistent with US Law...I wonder how that happened, what with Tom being "persona non grata" according to Rove?

I guess Tom Tancredo's a better fit to reclaim La Hacienda Blanco than the current "occupado"!

Time to focus on LEGAL America...vote Tom Tancredo/Mike Pence! (Although I'd LOVE a Tancredo/Coulter/Malkin/Pence ticket in ANY combination..as long as Mark Levin is appointed Attorney General!)
