How does being all but trapped in a hotel constitute looking at the broader picture of what is going on in Iraq? These guys are liars plain and simple.

This was the stupidest line in the whole piece. In this day of soldier-blogs, any journalist who wants to get the soldiers' side of the story only has to have web-access, which he doesn't even need to be in a hotel in Baghdad for. This is a lame excuse in supposedly one of our premier newspapers.
