They say better late than never but......
He can't propose his guest worker amnesty deal, until after some pseudo tough talk, meant only to gull the duller sheeple.
But note well: despite all the policy decisions he mentions today (which can be canceled or scaled back at any time in the future) there is one thing he will NOT do: actually build a modern multiple fence system.
Hog Slaughter plant near here is FULL of illegals (With Documents) doing jobs that the plant coulsdn't find Americans willing to do at 12.50-$15 bucks an hour+ bene's...
That's a good living wage in that area, and will buy a decent house.
Until we get our kids to come to grips with the fact that not every job provides 25 paid days off, and a company Lexus, we will CONTINUE to have this problem....
Listening via Internet Stream from KFYI.com via Sean Hannity program.
I hear lots of promises, but little meat. One promise is dubious. He promises a "guest worker" program that brings the illegals out of the shadows and "rejects amnesty." Yeah, right...
He promised to "harden" the border, but so far (the speech is time delayed via Hannity) he's not said how he's going to "harden" anything. He talks about changing policies and laws and launching new programs, but I don't hear anything YET about "hardening" anything.

I support Bush..always have....just think he is doing this for the wrong reasons...but as usual, I'll do my best to suuport him the best I can....
Bush's immigration policies are far better though than Bill Clinton's were.
I'm not holding my breath for the President to apologize to me and my fellow Minuteman Project volunteers.
Thanks. I'm so sick and tired of that lie I could barf.
I"m always happy....generally.....lol.....can't we give criticism when warrented?....we are tough enough for that are we not?
"I'll just call the new amnesty a 'guest worker program.'
My peons are so stupid, they'll believe anything."
It sure is keeping salaries lower, how much are you willing to pay for a Big Mac. How much for a night's stay in Motel 6? How much for clean restrooms? That's the point. It'll all cost more, which doesn't mean it shouldn't happen. It will also take time to raise all those salaries for our children (who presumabely want these jobs) without throwing all these businesses into the red.
What? Hillary's on?
Unbelieveable. The only network.
Too Little, Too Late..
I didn't even hear promises from the President....
There is nothing the President can say or do that will win approval from the Tancredo clan. Just watch
You are talking about spoiled college kids and country club republicans.
We scuzzy, filthy middle-class losers are eagerly willing to work those jobs.
Great speech! That is the Bush I love!!!
Why not run for office?
