Very shocking when someone you have high expectations of reveals this kind of flaw. I only hope that the investigations into this and into the Jack Abramson(sp?)/Indian Casino money scandals enlarge to take in the entirety of the lobbying profession in D.C. - there's a ton of corruption there and it's time to clean the stable, regardless of party affiliations.

I think "lobbyist" is just a euphemism for "bag man." I mean, what do they really do but buy influence through campaign "donations," etc...? Some folks (including myself) would call that bribery. Is it just me, or does the whole system just reek of corruption?
