Yeah, well that is the coast, the temps are a little different inland in CA especially over here in the foothills of the Sierras. We don't faint at temps over 80 because they hit 106+ many times in the summer and we don't have shelters to open and very few homeless, of course we are mostly conservatives in this area.

We, too, get a laugh out of the coasties when they come inland in the summer and winter, bitching about the weather.

I have sympathy for them, but ultimately you need to care about yourself first, non-profits (Salvation Army being the best example) do an infinitely better job of helping folks than Govt. social programs. Govt. usually just messes people up more.
