The peoplein this effort are somewhat older than those who are fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan. Make your own judgments.

...join us in refusing to comply with a culture that tells us to hide our [sic] body, to be ashamed of its scents, secretions, curves, and hair... I dunno about "shame" but I gave up playing in my own poo just about the time I got out of diapers.

The pendulum is still swinging far in the opposite direction of the extreme position that our society used to inhabit, where sexual repression was carried to an absurdly unnatural degree. Now, sexual obsession is being carried to an absurdly unnatural degree. Things should settle out to a sane position in another generation or so. I don't really think these silly antics are worth worrying about, except to the extent that taxpayer dollars are subsidizing the pseudo-academic underpinnings of it.

Liberals as savages.
Sure. The pampered and spoiled, rotten metrosexuals sure know a thing or two about savagery. I mean, at least they make a pretense of it over the usual cream latte and a bit of rice pilaf.

In "The Second Sex," which is required reading in most women's studies courses, Simone de Beauvoir describes a pregnant women as merely an incubator with eggs. That book was required reading when I went to college. I read a couple of pages and tossed it aside. Took close notes in class instead.
