I remember some quote where he called Bush a "cryptofascist," undoubtedly impressing those impressed by meaningless invented words.

The source for the word "cryptofascist" is, I believe, the now-defunct (but still hilarious) British comedy show, 'Red Dwarf', from the episode where the Dave Lister character encounters his younger, rock star-wannabe self, who tended to describe virtually everything as 'cryptofacist'. Maybe Cusack will next turn to that other great Brit comedy, 'Absolutely Fabulous' for inspiration. The possibilities boggle the mind.
