How much warning would be “adequate”? I would say 30 days. It had been publicized here for at least that long, but I guess if they ignore the news it might come as a suprise.

30-45 days would be fine: Thirty days for getting your rent and deposit money up. Throw in an extra two weeks for finding the right place.

But I got the impression that well into the first week of November they gave notice that funding would be cut by December 1.
