The protection from UV radiation afforded by the canopy of the water over the earth was probably one of the reasons ancient man lived approx 10 times longer than modern man. This is the stupidest statement I've seen on FR this month, and that's saying something.
You can start marshalling evidence for this preposterous claim by trotting out all the 200-year-olds who got out of the sun when the Industrial Revolution started creating a statistically significant number of indoor jobs.

It is, isn't it! I couldn't believe that someone could think that way and type at the same time. I hope (and pray) we don't loose the conservative movement to these morons.
