Fascist brown shirts who want to control not only what you put into your body but what you can't.Alchoholics (sic) are self destructive, prone to violence, undependable, sickly, and dangerous to others.
Winston Churchill was dangerous to the National Socialists.

Hard line sober people are restless, irritated, hyper, control freaks, power and money hungry, and hard-headed know it-alls.
Oh, the horror someone could be a capitalist and want to control their own destiny! How dare those evil Republicans be so irritated by the decline of this country!
Heaven and hell forbid, you just might have to compete with one of them...

Potheads are unmotivated, slow, easily distracted, mediocre, with no logentivity(sic) and little asiration(sic).
If I had to choose one of the three abusive behaviours(sic), I would choose the pothead. He'll do enough to get by, will work when necessary, and if you let him grow his own weeds he will avoid destructive and violent situations, and be contempt(sic) with his mediocrity.
Spoken like a true welfare plantation statesman. We can't have people with aspirations and dreams, they must be content with mediocrity so you can rule over them with your incompetence!

Don't take it personally. Your symptoms are just a manifestation of your corrupt nature. You insist on wanting to pull the splinter out of your brothers eye when you can't get the tree out of yours.
The context of the argument was ABUSIVE behaviors. Regulate your own behavior and quit dictating to others how they should live. If you want to be a power hungry capitalist, go for it. If you wan't to destroy your life with alchohol or drugs, go for it. I'm not stopping you. People have a right to live as they choose. As long as they are not harming others, let them be.
I have my own idea of right and wrong, and I'll be damned if some fascist pig is going to tell me how to live.

Evidence supporting my above position.

Winston Churchill was a pot smoker. You might want to do a quick search before you use a famous name.

Oh, the horror someone could be a capitalist and want to control their own destiny!
You mean someone would want to grow their own buds, enjoy their own buds, keep thier own buds to themselves and not be bothered by those that would impose their own view of what is proper and what is not on everyone else?
The base of pot smokers are everyday ordinary folks that go to work, love their kids, pay their taxes, mow their grass, and other such basic American behaviors. I would like for you to find for me any profession where you would not find a pot smoker. I do not think you can do so.
As for lazy, I would argue that point. For many, a good buzz provides ability to focus beter on the task at hand and actually produce more productivity. This obviously does not apply to all tasks.
As an example, I will offer wetsanding primer on a car in final preperation for paint. For those of you that have actually DONE this and know the work involved, it is not exactly a task one looks forward to doing. The mess you make and the burning your arms and shoulders feel as you 'wax on and wax off' (tribute to miagi there) is not exactly something to look forward to.. A good buzz can be very beneficial in this instance.
Now, obviously, I am not saying that smoking three blunts of some 90 day skunk is prudent before sanding that primer on a 31 model A that is on its way to the show. This is about moderation in use as was said. A couple oners and some sanding and a couple more oners and some more sanding is the context I offer with this example.
Pot is not for all people, that much is true. This can be said about all drugs. To claim it is all bad for all people is simply reaching a bit to far. In fact, for many people it is a very positive thing when applied in moderation.
If this issue gets a person uptight, they ought to sit down take a deep breath thru an ice filled bong and relax.
I in no way advocate commercial cultivation, sale of said product, or the use of it by underage minors. I do not advocate for legalization. My position is for people to be able to grow their own for their own use without the threat of losing everything they own for doing so, not to mention the jail time involved. Personal responsible use through moderation of use and self supply.
