Speaking of fortune cookies. I have entertained a dozens of people from Shanghai. Not a single one ever heard of a "fortune cookie." They look puzzled but very amused.
Fortune cookies are an American invention, as a matter of fact when they were first shipped to some Asian countries they were touted as the "Genuine American Fortune Cookie". I guess some countries sitll haven't recieved theirs!
