God gave us a brain to make the difference. I've taken all of the big animals on this continent with my bow. I've never left the meat.
If you don't think hunting is a sport, stick a bear at 10 yards with a pointed stick without a firearm withing a mile. I think the biggest sport is hunting something that hunts back with a bow. It's not for "talkie cowards."

A-Men, I have taken Elk, Bear and White Tail Deer with a bow. Used the meat from all of them except one bear, UPS messed up the box in shipment and it was pretty raunchy by the time it arrived at my house. Really was the butchers fault, the container wasn't sturdy enough.

A-Men to the standing 10 yards away from a wild bugling Elk thrashing a small tree and the bear not more than 20 or 30 feet from you (and not only no firearm but no human being either)
