Well put.
Hey, "Jack Bauer" doesn't care what the terrorists think or feel...
he just shots 'em dead. (Full of .40cal holes, I presume)
And I just love the way that drives liberal TV "experts" INSANE!
exactley my point...
for all we know he was going to roll a doobie
because you see footprints of water around and near a swimming pool doesn't mean someone was swimming
it only means that their are footprints of water around and near a swimming pool
because a car engine is warm, doesn't mean the car had recently been driven
be cautious of assuming facts not in evidence
Have you seen "24"?
My bad, my post was not targeted to you. Only pointing out a large percent of our population does not agree we are at war with those who ordered the hijacking of Flight 93.
Yes, it is my favorite show, but I'm so suspicious of someone brought up in that environment. I guess at the very least if he does have those views, he keeps them to himself so I don't have to stop watching my favorite show.
I'm not entirely sure about the official story. There were some very strange observations that make me wonder if this flight was shot down by the US gov.
It was far more than fantasy.
We know plenty about that flight.
And the families know even more.
If you don't see that, it's because you are choosing not to.
likewise....we all see what we choose to see
i agree with you once again, Laz. i have seen reports that this airplane had inverted before crashing. it would seem that the loss of an engine/wing from an aircraft like this would likely result in the plane flipping over. i would like to know the opinions that Freeper pilots have of these events.
No, the loss of an engine would likely not cause the flight to invert --- maybe turn left or right (depending on how the control surfaces were positioned) --- but not invert.
I would suspect (I am a pilot, but I flew AH-64 in the Army and co-piloted nothing bigger than my company's Gulfstream, and that un-officially), the only way --- besides very deliberate manuevers --- you could make a big bus like that invert would be in a dive and hitting very hard rudder (or something similar).
To me, a hard turn in a dive, potentially resulting in inversion, or a flat spin of some kind, is consistent with two people fighting for the controls --- bodies pushing the "stick" forward --- causing the dive, then someone grabbing the "wheel" from one side or the other, as they fought.
From that point, assuming everyone is unbuckled, they'd tumble to the ceiling of the cabin and back down again, over and over --- so they'd be completely screwed.
thank you for the response. i was thinking that the loss of an engine (or entire wing) due to a missile strike would cause the plane to roll over. obviously, though, i am not an aeronautical engineer.
The loss of a wing could (and probably would) cause the plane to corkscrew, as you then have lift on only one side of the plane.
All said, however, as a former military pilot (again, Army, not Zoomie), you could never keep this a secret.
One, the pilot would talk.
Two, the pilot would get permission to fire. There would be 20 people in this loop. Half of them would talk.
Three, the forms for a new missle (at, what, $500,000 a pop?) would be all over the place. That would blow the budget for the local Air National Guard for a year.
The simple answer is usually the truth -- and a fight for the controls would tump the plane over in a heartbeat.
No fabricated WMD were found in Iraq because it looks like President Bush is not trying to cover his butt as the previous POTUS routinely did. Thats his track record, and it seems the same in this situation. If the plane were shot down, people would have heard it, and seen it, and reported it.
I have been aloft almost two years of my lifetime. In a very near hopeless-desperate situation, to dislodge an attacker, a pilot could valiantly initiate this very maneuver and if the Arabian terrorist interrupted him, it would be difficult for the attacker to recover and accomplish his evil intentions.
Instead of fishing for conspiracy here, a better use of energy would be to unravel the Able Danger story or ACLU activism, subversion, sedition, aiding and comforting Americas enemies.
It appears you are. The rest of us are willing to accept the mountains of evidence from the flight recorder, phone calls and live witnesses who talked to many of the passengers before the flight crashed. I suppose you beleive Jesus Christ was a fictional figure because nobody who was personally acquainted with him while he was on the earth is still alive.
