"To my knowledge, the only society that rivals Romania like this is India, where the concept of Karma (the preordained cycle of a person's fate based on repayment of past sins of previous lives) devalues humanity. Many babies are abandoned in the jungles and woods to the animals if there's any kind of birth defect. "

Have you ever been to India?

I have not. I have been to Trinidad, which has a statistically overwhelming Indian population.

Well you pick up tidbits of knowledge form some bizarre tripe on the internet and fantastic tales from Rudyard Kipling and wrongly attribute those to the usual stereotype about Karma (which in your opinion "devalues humanity") and in general Hinduism without knowing anything about either. I dont wish to be rude but arguing against this is like arguing against plain stupidity. You have still a lot to learn about India (beyond the regular stereotype) before you find yourself in a position to pass fair judgement on her culture and religion.
