I have seen these stupid people on their cell phones or whatever. They make me crazy; because they are not concentrating on driving. It is really scary.

"We do not believe it was an intentional act,...

This statement comes from a deep thinker it does.

Perhaps a lack of common sense brought on by a society that accepts a lack of it as normal?

"I feel sorry for the teenager," she said. "It was a stupid mistake,"

Lest we forget the death of an innocent victim Mom.

Riding a bicycle on the side of the road in todays world is nearly a suicidal act. Nearly every other driver going by is either on drugs, alcohol, or not paying attention and talking on a cell phone. People driving while talking/operating cell phones do not mix.

Hopefully the cyclist took out life insurance after that first crash.

This guy was quite famous in cycling forums.

He was quite the mechanic, who helped many others with his knowledge.

RIP "Sydney"

This accident was right in my neighborhood.
It happened at the hilltop intersection that provides the entrance road to the Highschool and Middle School.
The limited sight distance and the "SCHOOL ZONE" require the DRIVER'S FULL ATTENTION!

Neighbors saw flight-for-life come in.
Prayers for all!

----I wasn't so forgiving when a drunk killed my husband and baby boy and I NEVER will. It is hard to forgive someone who kills your family through sheer negligence

If it had been a few years back the teenager would have been eligible for a medal. Oh! Wait I believe that was for older drivers.......

It was the second time Price, an avid cyclist, had been hit by car. He suffered a broken ankle two years ago when he was hit while riding on a bike path. His wife, Shirley, said he had been especially mindful of cars since then.

One time would be enough for me. Anyone riding their bikes on a road meant for cars is asking for trouble. Yes the driver was a fault here, but that doesn't excuse the cyclist from being in a position where he can easily become road kill.
