It is contradictory in this case to give them disciplinary action while not charging them. Either they did something wrong or they did something right. This is a messed up and mixed message we are sending that is likely intended to placate those who are not our friends.

I agree.....
but the PC crowd is too proud to tell the truth.
If the PC crowd told the truth, then they would
have to admit they're wrong.
PC is not a wonderful thing, and the PCer's if
they have their way will destroy this nation, for
they believe those to whom they would hand this
nation over to will treat them well.......
WOW they would be in for a surprise and shock.
The PC ers are nothing more than useful idiots
for those wishing Ameicans harm.

I think the message should be to burn the Taliban members ALIVE.

Gee, I guess we should have just hung the bodies from a nearby bridge instead. That's what the enemy does to our people and that sure doesn't provoke any outrage.

If they had been some other religion would anybody say anything?
They were dead and rotting it was the best thing to burn the bodies. Or you could have gotten some pigs to eat them.

And if we didn't have those worthless embedded media, this routine battlefield practice would have never even gotten any attention. Time to start a jihad against the media. I'm in, who's with me?

We cannot, will not be able to win this war, until we stop treating the people who lay their lives on the line for us like the enemy. And, stop treating those who would see us dead, or enslaved to their religion like defenseless children! They are the enemy, we must acknowledge that and start treating them as such.

"those" that are making all these "calls",along with the
embeDdED media, should always be up front and center in all the actions they are judging.

I agree. The troops should be commended for taking care of business in a reasonable fashion.

As I was working out this morning I saw this across the T.V. screen at the gym-that the soldiers involved will not face criminal charges only disciplinary charges-they burned dead bodies, why would they even consider criminal charges in the first place?
To: catroina54
Hmmmmm....put the media on the point.....what a novel idea. I like it. .
We can tell them they will get the best footage if they are up front where the action is. One of two things will happen. 1) they will realize they are being set up to be killed and run like the yellow panty waist pansies they are or 2) they wind up as bullet traps and let the soldiers assess the DoF .
Either way the media problem is solved

I wonder what would have happpened to them if they had not burned the bodies, and a bunch of people died of a related disease. It seems we're putting people (and not just the military) in no-win situations like this all the time for no purpose other than making politicians feel good.
