How many more times do I have to hear 'unexpected' and 'surprising' being used as adjectives by pundits and anchors on election night when they describe GOP victories?
TO ALL MY FELLOW FREEPERS: Please remember that ALL presidents, even 2nd-termers, run for re-election in that they will try their best to have a member of their party elected as their successor. Thus, Bush is "running for a 3rd term" in the form of whichever GOP candidate gets the nomination. If W leaves office under a cloud of negative poll #'s or some pseudo-scandal cooked up by the Commie media, it will hurt the GOP candidate's attempt to defeat the Commucratic candidate in 2008.

As much as the media lies I wouldn't believe one of their polls unless I did their polling myself. LOL!!
