You are correct. We are on the same wavelength. I get real tired of all the abortion, religion and all that jazz comimng out of many Republicans.
I guess that makes me a "social liberal" in their eyes, but when it comes to FISCAl conservatism, national security and national sovereignty, I am so far right that the right does a doubletake and starts believing that maybe they are closet leftists!

There are many degrees of Republican because of the Perot / Clinton disaster. Bush 41 wasn't rabid enough about abortion or born again enough for Christians. Instead, we voted for Perot (a known choice candidate) and the rest is fatal history.
For now, conservatives need to stick together. The libertarians aren't strong enough and Buchannon is just a nut case lunatic zealot. I believe the home is where values come from. Home and church is where we will stem murder through abortion. The Supreme court should never have accepted that case. Never! Family power is being stolen from us by these ridiculous "preschool" ads. They are nothing but State schools for the liberal party line.
The only thing a village can raise is the village idiot!
