the fact is that a good portion of this country is dead. No construction goin on at all...

Sounds terrible.

Obviously you 20,000,000 new jobs are not in the fields of 10,000,000 american construction workers...

If you say so. So does this mean you won't be posting any facts?

I stand corrected. Since November 1993 we've added 21.5 million jobs.

Well, stand corrected again. According to the chart in your own post, only four million jobs have been created since Nov 2003 (142 million minus 138 million).

About two million American citizens enter the work force every year. Over eighty percent of the jobs created in 2003 and 2004 were filled by non-citizens, either illegal aliens, legal immigrants, or work visa "guests", who are coming into the country in numbers between two and three million a year. Less than 1.5 million are retiring each year.

Our economy needs to create three to four million jobs per year to keep up with the increase in available workers.

NO, as I said the stories were unconfirmed. See my reply above on the security problem. If a Senator is a closet homosexual, it really doesn't matter, EXCEPT that it may leave him vulnerable to blackmail by his political opponents. In that case it would be better to get it out in the open.

Here in South Carolina he's known as `Tinkerbelle' and `Flimsy Graham'. He doesn't answer letters or emails and has a staff who treat dissenting callers as potential assassins.

"but how is anyone going to know that who only knows him as a public person? Hmmmmmm?"

You are correct. This is why I was careful to say where I had read it rather than state it as a truism.

Without knowing what happens in people’s personal lives, I still have my doubts about Lott. And I am not totally convinced about Graham.

You would be surprised how many women stay married to these folks because of position and money. Of course, I don't consider these women too sane either.

I just thought of something. Wasn't Steponallofus also thought to be on the other side, but then married?

I am just putting forth some provocative thoughts.

I have no idea what happens in their bedrooms or otherwise.

If you look at my first post is says since NAFTA. Perhaps you should read more slowly??

I forget if you said anything. Except when you talked about (or was it out) your arse.

Don't believe the liberal lies about NAFTA. There are facts out there.

I bet that many illegals have come into the country since then.

The Left in both parties keeps using the figure of 11 million, which is a joke.

More like 30 million plus.

Wonder how many of those jobs you list have been filled by them?

They've overrun the construction trades.

And driven wages into the toilet....

Since 1993? Source?

Wonder how many of those jobs you list have been filled by them?

I wouldn't know.

They've overrun the construction trades. And driven wages into the toilet....

All wages or just construction wages?

Your survey is the talking point of the Nafta and Gatt crowd...

There are a number of globalists and UN supporters who post here. Which is fine I guess.

But when they falsely adopt titles such as Conservative or Patriot, they sully the history associated with those words.

It's the same type of redefinition that sodomites did to the word gay.

Building the economies of foreign nations has never been Patriotic or Conservative. And it is not anywhere supported in our charter.

Tinkerbelle' and `Flimsy Graham'?

LOL!!!

“He doesn't answer letters or emails and has a staff who treat dissenting callers as potential assassins.”

Now this is not a laughing matter. It sounds like he is also nuts.

You're awfully cocky for someone who plagerizes... I'd tip my hat and give a nod of conceed if you had anything stand up to say, but I look at the conversation and think you're an idiot...

Doesn't change the fact that we have 21,500,000 more jobs than we did before NAFTA.

I thought that sit-rep's next comment was going to be about how wages have fallen since NAFTA. Just when you think you've got these guys figured out... Now they're trying to claim that we've lost construction jobs since NAFTA passed and offer this as proof that NAFTA has been a failure. Let's look at some more facts:

Source

Now, what about construction jobs?

BLS Construction Job Statistics

The increase in our total exports to Mexico and Canada is also another indication of just how good NAFTA has been for our economy. The American agriculture industry has especially benefited from NAFTA. How some people can equate this kind of performance with failure is baffling.

I pasted it directly from your post.

Anyway, 21.5 million jobs over twelve years is less than the number of American citizens who have entered the work force since 1993. Then consider that illegal immigrants have increased by more than 10 million since NAFTA was enacted.

Trying to put lipstick on this pig is comparable to removing energy and food prices from the CPI to alter the inflation figures.

Jim Kolbe was outed by a gay publication who didn't like his vote on a gay marriage amendment. He didn't talk all that much about his personal life, though he began to during his last years in Congress. He should have kept his mouth shut.

Speaking for myself, what a politician does in his own bedroom or a hotel room is of far less importance than what he does when dealing with the public's business. Kolbe's record on border security and related issues was poor, which is why I say "Good riddance" to him.

You're awfully cocky for someone who plagerizes(sic)...

One entry found for plagiarize.
Main Entry: pla·gia·rize
Pronunciation: 'plA-j&-"rIz also -jE-&-
Function: verb
Inflected Form(s): -rized; -riz·ing
Etymology: plagiary
transitive senses : to steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one's own : use (another's production) without crediting the source

plagiarize

I'm not sure how you can plagiarize a fact like employment numbers. Maybe you missed the link where I credited the source? Or maybe you didn't know the definition (or spelling) of plagiarize?

I'd tip my hat and give a nod of conceed if you had anything stand up to say, but I look at the conversation and think you're an idiot...

That's right, all I did was post facts and back them up. Sorry that was too much for you and your arse to understand.

I realized what I was debating with and figured it was not worth it. I am an example of your construction figures...That is what I do for a living.

Really? Where did I post anything about 2003? I said "since NAFTA" and "Since November 1993".

Trying to put lipstick on this pig is comparable to removing energy and food prices from the CPI to alter the inflation figures.

You realize the government calculates and releases CPI numbers with food and energy?
