Bush 1 and Bush 2 both gave Colin Powell his 'claim to fame', and it now appears to have been a mistake. Powell could have disagreed and kept his mouth shut, but he chose to attempt to make the administration look bad. Again, he failed...he made himself look inept and ungrateful for the position he now enjoys!
Powell is well known as a dove. He was named as Sec of State for political reasons.
