Richardson and Castro both weren't Major League material.

How Clintonian!

I guess it depends on what "would be/could be" means.

There is a lot about this guy that doesn't ring true. Didn't know he hadn't been drafted? Maybe he doesn't know he's not as Hispanic as he keeps claiming (Just a thought).

Yeah, I thought I won the Heisman Trophy, but after further investigation realized it was just a Cracker Jack prize.

Sounds like he manipulated and cherry-picked the scouting reports. There ought to be a congressional investigation and possibly an impeachment.

How do we know he didn't fake arm trouble to get out of the draft?

He should'a kept his mouth shut... the MSM wouldn't of followed it up anyway. By admitting himself a liar and NOT blaming something/someone for it... he joins Joe Biden in the ranks of the unelectable.
Didn't learn squat in his time with the Great Stainmaker.

I guarantee this goes nowhere. If it does, no one will see it because it will get minimal play this weekend. It will be dead and buried by Monday.

scouts had told him he "would or could" be drafted. "In my mind, that meant I had been drafted," Richardson said If a casino tells you that you "would or could be a winner" does that mean, governor, that you struck it big in Las Vegas?
To: billorites
A lie is a lie unless told by a democrat. Then it is "I came to the conclusion ...". What a joke.

Lying about being drafted by Kansas City. He should at least have said Sand Diego or the Yankees if he was going to make it up. That's as bad as being caught having sex with a fat girl in a blue dress.
No wonder Governor Richardson got along so well with the Clintons.

He figured his resemblance to Fernando Valenzuela would give baseball credibility. Actually, he looks more like Horacio Sanz of SNL.
Seriously, if someone tells you he had been drafted by a major league team, the place to check is: www.thebaseballcube.com/draftsearch.asp. There is an actual syndrome for this type of behavior (telling someone of an athletic accomplishment where there is none) but I don't recall the name of it. I may have it written on the bottom of my NL MVP trophy.
