I place The Nation of Islam, Black Muslims, White Muslims, Muslims of any shade in between, sects, languages and locations as one in the same.
Until they prove themselves otherwise.

Hmmm from what I have rad so far no one has Identified the perps and no one as come forward claiming responsibility. So unless these guys said they were ISLAM then you can only assume they were.
Anyone can wear a suit and bowtie so that is little proof. I want clear clean news without bias either way. So not mentioning Islam is right at this stage.
However if they confirm one of the perps is a member of NOI and it is not reported then you have a clear case of Bias.

Or, I think, a rival store looking to take down rivals and cut down competition but using covert methods to put the blame on someone else.
Considering the tenion and hostility between the 2, its not far fetched.
Ordinary (radical) muslims hate the Nation of Islam (they see them as a bastardization of the religion and traitors to Allah) and Nation of Islam folks view mainstream muslims as racists who are disrespectful to them,etc.
But no, a war between them would not be a good thing.
The collateral damage would be innocent victims who have done nothing, and aren't involved, kind of like when someone playing in the park and an idiot does a drive by killing innocent kids who just happened to be in the area.

It took about a milli second to realize these insurgents were Black Muslims: "About a dozen African-American men wearing suits, white-collared shirts and bow ties — a trademark of the Nation of Islam — entered the store on San Pablo Avenue and West Street about 11:30 p.m. ."
The black suits, black over coats, white shirts and last and most important, the black bow ties nailed it down.
Apparently one of the N California tv stations blurred the faces and the black ties. Last night the local Fox News showed all of the dress uniform of the militant Black Muslim terrorists down to the black bow tie.
What was comical was the black pc police chief saying there was no way to identify the terrorists. He probably has a masters degree in the Chief Moose Police Chief PC school.
