Its your basic liberal drivle. Who cars if someone is offended?

My point had nothing to do with whether anyone was offended or not. It had to do with being honest. The original posters that I replied to referenced the incident as thought it enjoyed liberal support, and if not support, and least acceptence, and it wasn't true. I've got this thing about honesty, it's important.

Was this the only post on the Stetson softball team incident? In a column from today's Daytona Beach News-Journal, Tony Jones is claiming the following:

Stetson basketball player Chief Kickingstallionsims, a 7-foot-1-inch sophomore, was quoted on the Web site freerepublic.com last week as saying no one on the Hatters basketball team knew what the softball players were planning when they asked to borrow practice jerseys.

"I can see why people would consider it offensive," Kickingstallionsims said on the Web site. "They said they wanted to dress as us, but they didn't say they were going to paint their bodies or anything."

I've seen no evidence that Chief Kickingstallionsims posts here, and don't think a FReeper has been outed - it's just another case of a "journalist" that doesn't understand how Free Republic works. Mr. Kickingstallionsims said these things to Channel 6, not Free Republic. Did I miss something?

Anyway, the MSM lurks here, and that anything you post may be printed in tomorrow's newspaper. Something to always remember when posting.
