It's indeed complicated. There is a lot to read on the subject and it can be confusing. Still, as I see it, that means we should keep reading until we have a better understanding of the issues.
But how can you tell them that they are going to hell when it must be something that they could not control since an early age.
If we're talking about what the Bible says, it says all unrepentant sinners are going to hell, it also says people can change, including homosexuals. The I Do Exist video tells the story of 5 ex-gays and that change is possible.
I've always said it's complicated, and nobody has said it's easy, but change is possible.
Each and every one of us shares a cross of some sort. I have a dear friend who is going blind, I have another one, who is young dying of cancer. the list goes on. The choice is Gods will comes first. No where did Jesus say it will be easy. But people today run from the cross. I myself am in pain most of the time and then have to deal with the medication. You have a choice in life to follow Jesus or not. For me as a Christian I ask myself should I pray for sinners to come to Christ or simply just go on and think of only my own salvation. Loving anyone can be very difficult because we are expected to just go with the flow and forget about the souls of those we love or for that fact those we do not know. We will all die. Where do we go and what will happen?
