If homosexuality was inborn, there would be no former homosexuals. Nor would there be people (such as that female basketball player whose name escapes me) who stated clearly that she didn't used to be a "gay", but chose to be.
So, those two factors prove your position to be mere wishful thinking by homosexual apologists, and swallowed by people who have not done their homework.
Obviously people have different temptations. Some people are tempted by this, some by that. We all have the choice of whether to give in to our temptations (which, btw, strengthen such desires) or to not act on them - in effect, control our minds' desires. Which has the effect of weakening them. Some people seem like "born liars" but such people still have the option of not lying. And, by using the will* to avoid action on temptation, the illicit desires diminish in time, and often cease to even enter the mind after a while.
