Sodomy is a behavior. Behaviors are not genetic. Homosexuality is not a behavior. It's something a person either is or isn't. And yes, I do believe people can be born homosexual, and no, I am not a Christian. Not everyone on Free Republic is Christian, and not everyone on Free Republic hates gay people. However, even though I do not agree with the majority of Freepers on the origins or the morality of homosexuality, I definitely believe in the right of everyone to be able to express their views freely, and as such, I abhor the ghost of a nation that Sweden has become.
You have learned to play the mind game well! The Bible doesn't use the word "homosexuality." The Bible speaks about sodomy and effeminacy. Both are abominations.
You illustrate why we sense the need to identify as "RESTORATIONISTS" instead of "conservatives." That is, we feel we need to RESTORE the old conservative mindset of pre-WWII conservative thinkers, and not just go along with the the amoral and immoral so-called neo-conservatives of today, which we observe tend to huddle to Free Republic. Economic conservatism without social moral bearing (Yes, biblical morality) will actually contribute to our un-doing as a nation.
