I have already cooked 5 turkeys this Thanksgiving.
All in cooking bags.
Rinse turkey. Remove bag from front cavity and neck from back cavity. Generous amount of salt, pepper, sage, and pepper over entire skin.[I then add about a half quart of water so I get extra juices for the gravy]. Place in cooking bag (directions on bag for time and temp.) I cook my birds at about 375 and all had pop-ups to determine when done.
