Perhaps you can provide the link that you checked the union numbers against?

You're repeating yourself. I already gave you the link you requested in post #76. This IS the Bureau of Labor Statistics, as I already said, not union numbers which I agree could be suspect. Chart 4 corresponds precisely with the data given above for 1980-2003. It is also correct for 2004. You said the numbers were different, which isn't true. Their numbers are identical to Chart 4 from BLS.

Seeing that the numbers are precisely the same over 1980-2004 and looking through other documents on BLS which also correspond perfectly with the earlier data on 1964-1979, I must admit that the original numbers are entirely correct. I'm no union fan--never been in one.

P.S.: In case you don't know how to read the Bureau of Labor Statistics Chart 4:

On your computer screen, place the straight edge of a piece of paper along the Sept. point of the previous year to the one which you're checking in the chart. Then move it to the following Sept. point.
