Toronto Santa Claus came to town early Tuesday and he brought some Christmas stockings with him.
And the stockings were stuffed with legs.
And the legs were attached to six Rockettes, the famed high-kicking dance troupe that has been a staple at New York's Radio City Music Hall since 1933.
It was all part of a media event to announce that the Radio City Christmas Spectacular featuring both Santa and the Rockettes will be making its first road-show appearance in Canada next Christmas that's right, Christmas 2006 at Toronto's Hummingbird Centre for the Performing Arts.

Some Freepers check out DU. I sometimes listen to NPR. Soonn the gag reflex is overwhelming and I have to switch stations.
Rockettes were in Cincinnati several years ago. Best show I ever saw outside of NY. Don't miss it.
I saw them at RCMH in 1965. Do you suppose it's still the same girls that were there 40 years ago?
They are in Detroit every year and it is one of the most fantastic things I've seen. It's worth every penny to take your family to this.
Hah! Well, we told them! If Canada didn't want to participate in a shield against balistic missiles, then they have to live with the consequences! If rockets are raining down on them....
What? Rockettes? You mean the dancers? Not rockets, as in missiles?
Oh... Never mind.

It is a great show. Highly recommended.
They said the "C" word!
They seem ageless, but I think they all look pretty much alike.
That's true of Vegas showgirls, too. One of the main dancers in Jubilee! at Bally's was 52 - you would never have known it to look at her. I think she finally retired this year.
