As a young kid, I had the opportunity to sit in the cockpit of a Flying Tiger P-51 at our state fair. I still remember the awesome sound and smell when the pilot cranked up the engine. Those who flew this machine in combat were amazing men.

I was at an airshow at Eglin field maybe 10 years ago and they had two P-51's flying with an F-15. I got quite a few pictures but didn't have a long enough lens for really tight shots.
Interestingly the Mustangs were flown by a General and Colonel while the F-15 was flown by a captain.
