For the life of me, I cannot understand why this bothers anyone. This time of year is not strictly for Christians so unless you walk around with a crucifix stapled to your forehead or a yarmulke on your head, how is anyone supposed to know what is the right thing to say? Happy Holidays says both. Get the hell over it already.

It has been Merry Christmas and Happy New Year since I can remember. I remember things when I was about 7 months old. Why has it changed in the last few years? People are trying to do away with Christmas all together and I find that offensive. I can remember going to a church when I was very young and a large Christmas tree was in the front of the church. We sang Christmas songs, had a Christmas program, and exchanged gifts. Of course that would be extremely hard to do in the very large church I attend nowadays. If we let this go, then what in the world will be next. No, I will not get over it.
