Many of the posts on this subject just affirms for me the nagging feelings I have about conservatives not being that different from liberals when it comes to issues of morality.
Fornication is WRONG according to the Bible.Conservatives-most of them that is-consider the Bible to be the foundation of Western values and an eternal moral code.
Yet,just like the liberals do,many if not most conservatives wink and giggle at perverts like this teacher and think its the funniest thing to come down the pike.Situational ethics?Moral relativism?
Conservatives the upholders of traditional morality?Don't make me laugh.

At 14 I was not the same person as today. All I said is she's quite attractive and at that age it wouldn't have taken much for her to have her way with me. Not once did I say that it would have been OK or right to do so.

I want you to point to the post where I said what she did was OK.

God gave us a sense of humor. You may laugh. On a serious note: She got about what she deserved, mainly because she was in a position of authority and public trust, which she breached. Her husband deserves some kind of compensation for the adultery, though, as well. Not sure if that's coming.

Jennifer O'Neill, however (who is hotter) received no punishment, which was also the right thing to happen, in The Summer of '42.
