It's almost as if the vast majority of scientists who write the textbooks believe evolution to be a valid theory.
Oh, wait...

vast majority of scientists who write the textbooks believe evolution The vast majority of scientists believe in global warming but I'm not selling my SUV. All we are saying is give some time to other possibilities.

The meteorologists that I've talked to at the NWS don't believe in global warming. As a matter of fact, if you want to raise their blood pressure just bring the subject up.
Also, do we know for sure that it is scientists who write the textbooks? Or is it just textbook writers? And what about the proofreading process? I've heard that there are often significant errors in history books so is there any reason to believe that science books aren't any different?

Excellent topic, truthfinder9. I read through the linked material and found it a good resource as to problems with modern Darwin theory. I did not pursue this far enough to know if the evaluated textbooks are the current front-runners in schools, or merely a rundown on the bottom set of disasters. What would constitute a good (A or B) Biology text for homeschoolers? This site seems to be dedicated to Intelligent Design, but offers no examples of acceptable existing textbooks. Maybe there aren't any.

There aren't many good ones out there. Your best bet is to keep this article handy with any text. The book
Icons of Evolution details the common errors in more depth.
To: Doogle
This is an interesting topic that reveals the true motivations behind some. Many people that scream about the threat to science in schools presented by ID turn a blind eye to the obvious falsehoods presented in many books, simply because they support evolution.
I don't think ID should be taught in schools, but if evolution is to be taught, many school districts need to revisit the materials that are used.
