Actually, both organizations were always "radical," but until very recently radicalism didn't have anything to do with "gay marriage" and such issues. Shoot, back in the "red decade" of the Thirties would today's radicalism even be recognized?
Unfortunately, it is the association in the popular mind of yesterday's radicalism (desegregation) with today's radicalism ("gay rights") that gives today's Left its fanatical moral surety and that threatens to undo legitimate reforms should today's radical causes ever find themselves in retreat.
I am unaware of any good Foxman has ever done (how is associating Judaism with same-sex marriage "good?"), and Jewry already has leaders: the Orthodox Rabbinate, the successors of Moses. Heretical sectarians and secular politicos and philanthropists need not apply.
Civil authority for the Rabbinate over all Jews--NOW!
Nope, though it might be the Amish :). Sometimes you will see it as TROP (THE religion.... etc.)
One could even get the impression that, if Christians and Jews were actually to get along, peacefully, Foxman might be out of a job.
Perhaps Foxman is afraid of his own obsolescence?
FDR once told a rabbi and a priest (both Americans) visiting the White House that Catholics and Jews were in the US "by suffrance". Wonder what Foxman thinks about that?
Hello! America was founded on Christianity, it is because of Christianity that you enjoy the freedoms set up for us in our Constitution.
This guy needs to try reading. Our founders were very explicit in why they set up our country the way they did and how much the Bible and Christianity played a role. He might even want to take a look at a map of the Washington mall, even our government offices were laid out in the shape of a cross.
Excellent analogy.
Given I am jewish and think abe foxman is a POS, If you believe that there is the "jewish media" then there is anti-semitism. The "jewish media" simply doesn't exist, and if it does than I want my cut.
Thanks. BTW, I love your latest tagline! :))))
Thank you very much!
