Wonder if she's grieving over her parents or over her boyfriend?

It doesn't seem as if she's grieving over either, at least not yet. And given her remarks, it seems as if the choice would be grief over the boyfriend and the lost 'new life'.

Their testimonies about what happened that day seem almost gleeful, sort of pleased with the results, like they planned in advance to support each others stories. She says she went willingly. As though to say to bystanders, yes, I'm with him. And he blatantly, and without emotion it seems, admits he shot them both and intended to kill them. They strike me, at this point, as both seeming defiant in their plan, and they've 'stuck together', corroborated each others stories. No tearful regrets or turning on each other. That lends a whole new cold dimension to the murders. Are the authorities considering premeditation? Even though they won't be running off together to start a new life, it seems they are almost happy with this new life, jailed separately, but accomplishing the goal of getting rid of her parents who dared to try to stand in their way. Very cold.

My opinion, this girl is too selfish to grieve for anyone other than the young man. I read an article about him getting in trouble in Hawaii, this was an incident with a girl. The writer said he uses Christianity to lure girls.
