Somerset and Morris Counties are the two wealthiest in the United States.
I lived a VERY brief part of my life (age 3-4) in Camden County, albeit in the friendlier confines of Turnersville, where the only death was of deer trying to cross the Black Horse Pike.

Don't knock all of Newark. You can still walk down Ferry Street at night without being robbed, although it helps to know Portuguese or Spanish.

West Orange is an odd place, being that you have multimillion dollar mansions, while the eastern part of town is in decline. South Orange is becoming largely middle and upper middle income black, largely "Buppies" moving out of NYC. Bloomfield and Belleville have undergone more of a decline in recent years.
Remember that there are more Republicans in North Jersey than South Jersey. Look at the red blue county map from 2004 to see my point.
