"Many adjuct faculty at community colleges are well-educated individuals who currently have or who have retired from private sector jobs and just like to teach. They can bring more real-world experience to the classroom than their full-time, tenured counterparts."
Where are you an Adjunct?
I agree with FReeper TN4Liberty.
Most full-time tenured professors have little knowledge outside their own specific research interests. Some adjuncts, especially those with privaye sector experience, tend to be far better than the career PhDs who have little outside experience and no knowledge of real-world issues.
You DO understand that doesn't refute what I said, don't you?
I am not adjunct anywhere, but I could be and at some point, I may be. From you statements, I infer that you believe that career teachers are the only ones who have anything worth teaching. That is a remarkable position for a conservative to have.
