O'Reilly Appreciates Mind & Body of Fox Legal Analyst Lis Wiehl, His Radio Co-host

Bill O'Reilly appreciates the mind of Fox News legal analyst Lis Wiehl — and don't get him started on her body.

Liberal watchdogs at Media Matters are agog over O'Reilly's on-air ogling of the Harvard-educated law prof.

On his 11/3 radio broadcast, O'Reilly called for a "full-body search" of Wiehl, adding that "she asked for it."

On 10/26, he asked Wiehl to protest outside CBS studios in a bikini.

On 11/10, discussing an executive who spent $250,000 in one night at a strip club, he told Wiehl "it might be worth learning how" to dance for a $10,000 tip, adding, "You're a good-looking girl. I mean, if you haven't seen Lis on TV, she's a good-looking blond."

It's the sort of language that former O'Reilly producer Andrea Mackris might have cited in that lawsuit she filed against him last year. But a Fox News spokesman tells us: "Lis was not offended at all."

I only watch O'Reilly accidentally nowadays. He's boring and strident. An old Sean Hannity.

When did admiring a member of the opposite sex become illegal? The fact that he would say this on his show, in my opinion, shows that it is innocuous.

These comments give credibility to the sex lawsuit against him by his producer, and he had to pay a lot of money to settle that suit. Maybe it's time for him to stop making sexual comments to young women, out of respect to his wife.

He ALWAYS ogles attractive women on his TV show, often with comments he'd be much better off keeping to himself. You'd think after that lawsuit and those audio tapes he'd have more sense!

Media Matters is a Leftwing smear site that spends its time pouring through Conservative media statements picking and choosing things to make a fuss over: nothing more than "gotcha" B.S.

If Lis doesn't like what Bill is saying she can tell Bill herself. Evidently she's a thicker-skinned person than what Media Matters would prefer she be, and probably enjoys Bill's compliments on her looks.

If Media Matters were around when Dean Martin held Celebrity Roasts, they'd make a fuss over the razzing and teasing celebrities used to do in good fun, when people were more mature and could handle it.

All the more reason for O'Reilly to watch his mouth, knowing that leftwing websites are monitoring him. IMO, he likes to live on the edge.

New/Conservative media voices have gained too much ground to tone it down because of a few Leftwing "smear merchants" as Bill calls them. Lis is a big girl AND a lawyer herself, she can handle Bill on her own.

Where was Media Matters when Bill Clinton was leaving DNA on White House interns??

They were probably supporting Bill Clinton, which is why someone like O'Reilly should think twice about what he says on air, knowing they're out to get him.

Even before his phone problems came out, you could see the guy had a problem by theway he treated women on his TV show.

What a lousy poster boy for the right.

Keith Olberman always monitors O'Reilly and then puts it on his show. He's been after him since the sex harassment lawsuit.

"you could see the guy had a problem by theway he treated women on his TV show"

In broadcasting, these women are called "side-chicks." Their purpose is to provide someone for the big shot (male) to interact with.
(Because today's radio/TV hosts usually don't have the intelligence or wit necessary to hold an audience's attention by themselves.)

Being a side-chick can often be demeaning, in one way or another. But being willing to let someone demean you a little sometimes, is part of the biz.

I know an award-winning radio newswoman (more than 100 awards, in fact), who left broadcasting rather than allow management to push her into becoming a bubble-headed side-chick.

When E.D Hill from Fox & Friends is his co-host, Bill doesn't talk to her like he does to Lis.

Point(s)taken. The issue of illegality, however, is why the individual who sued got a pile of dough.

I ask myself though whether I would be humiliated over the lawsuit and the comments, and the answer is I wouldn't. Maybe I'm just too used to my husband admiring the beautiful newspersons on Fox News?
