I didn't 'ping' you!

I responded to your post to me.

Get a clue and figure out how to read a thread within a board, ok?

I didn't 'ping' you!

I responded to your post to me. And that shows up as a ping to you.

Not my software around here that detemines what's what.

Mea Culpa.

Truly, Coop, I don't have your name saved to my ping list.

I believe that it hurts the morale of the troops.

I know that it raises the morale of the "insurgents".

I would think it also causes those that would support the United States to have second thoughts.

Ask the South Vietamese what happens to those who support[ed] the United States courtsey of the Democrat Party.

Clue: You will have to dig most of them up before you can ask them.

Oops, I didn't make this clear, that these are YOUR words. Coop.

"I get so angry at these FR idiots that I just cannot engage them rationally. I'd say you just did a fine job. My sincere thanks for your son's service and the sacrifices of your entire family. When you get angry just click on a few of my above links to cheer yourself up. You'll see some people that truly value our military and are trying in various ways to let the military members know it. 28 posted on 11/21/2005 8:46:35 AM CST by Coop (FR = a lotta talk, but little action) [ Post Reply | Private Reply | To 24 | View Replies | Report Abuse ]

I posted nothing to you. I'm not going to ask nicely again.

How ironic that you lecture me on how to read posts, when you can't even figure out what are my words and what are not.

Do not ping me again.

No one who really loves America or its institutions wants to suspend the Bill of Rights or shoot members of the media whose message undercuts our efforts abroad. That said, someone on our side needs to educate the public about something that's always been acknowledged, prior to this last generation or two. That is, simply, that with freedom of speech comes responsibility not to abuse such freedom, resulting in harm to others. The message that this antiwar and MSM drumbeat is irresponsible and harmful ought to be driven home at every opportunity, until the average Joe immediately recognizes such speech for what it is. If there was a swift and critical public reaction to each such instance of irresponsibility, it would be stopped in short order.

I think the point needs to be made that our country and our troops can withstand a bit of debate. It was true during every war we've fought. Our troops are pretty gung-ho and are not such delicate flowers as some would imagine.

You are right. I did mess up big time in my quote. Sorry. I won't ping (respond) to you by name, so this post is not directed to anyone.

That's the portion I meant to quote. Just your signature tag.

(FR = a lotta talk, but little action)"

That's offensive, in my opinion. Lots of FR members are very active. Note: this is NOT addressed, and therefore NOT pinged to Coop.

I think the soldiers know the difference between Americans and Democrats.
