No, as far as I am concerned you were right on.
I wasn't aware of that. Still, I'm sure that he was hoping that the Jordanians would respond similarly to how the Spaniards and Brits responded after they were attacked and place the blame on Abdullah's friendly relations with the U.S. and Israel instead of taking their anger out directly on the terrorists.
