When is America going to wake-up to the danger we put ourselves in by allowing the border to be left unsecure?!

A confirmed al Qaida terrorist, an Iraqi national How is that possible? Al Qaeda and Iraq don't have anything to do with each other. Or, so I'm told.

"And these are clearly Arab terrorists," Rep. Culberson added, "from countries like Yemen, Iraq and Saudi Arabia. They're crossing the border, pretending to be Hispanic immigrants, and then disappearing."
Heck, if I was a terrorist that's precisely what I'd be doing. Also the Canadian border is VERY porous ... I'd be crossing there too. They've found wide underground tunnels complete with lighting, heat and air conditioning ... me thinks MANY are here already.
Who knows how many are NOT on the "watch list". I'd send the ones that were NOT on the watch list.
I'm glad they caught these creeps but who knows how many others have been successful that our government knows NOTHING about.

Somehow I can't ever see this happening as long as Bush dances to Vincente Fox's tune.

"A confirmed al Qaida terrorist, an Iraqi national, was held in the Brewster County jail," Rep. Culberson told ABC Radio host Sean Hannity. "He was captured in Mexico. This was within the last six weeks. He was turned over to the FBI." More on this.......

An Al Qaida operative who was on the FBI's terrorist watch list was recently captured near the Mexican border, housed in a Texas jail and turned over to federal agents, Rep. John Culberson, R-Texas, said on Friday.
----It was just a matter of time before some were caught. Now someone find out how many are already in the country that sneaked in with the rest of the trash. Because as **Americanwolfsbrother** says "is it going to take another couple of terrorist attacks on US soil to get these people off their asses and watch our borders"?

Fox news reported this last Thursday morning one time, then it was pulled and was not reported again on Fox. Several of us monitored different news agencies throuout the day, and there was not a peep of it after Fox reported it.
Someone squashed it. We could not find any web links on it either. Strange, I think.

When is America going to wake-up to the danger we put ourselves in by allowing the border to be left unsecure?! If the body count starts to rise from terror bombings in our southern cities it will be the Mexican immigrants, as well as our politicians, who will get the heat from disgruntled Americans.
Innocence won't matter to people who will see those immigrants as "allowing" terrorists to join them in illegally crossing the border.
That anger will quickly spread to the Mexican government where relations will become "chilly" due to Fox's insistence on keeping the border open. And, it will be a nightmare for Bush who has refused, so far, to seal the southern border.
